Tot Cor Heart-Shaped Vase.

The Tot Cor project is an artistic, collaborative, and charitable initiative that appeals to generosity and good feelings. Its main piece is the Cor—a vase designed as a symbol of kindness and a reminder of the good in this world. Created by my friend Pepa Reverter, who invited me to contribute, the project allowed me to make my own version of her heart.

For my interpretation, I journeyed back to my Mexican roots. Named Nantzin, meaning “mother” in Nahuatl, this piece is dedicated to both my mother and Pepa’s, honoring those we’ve loved and lost. Decorated with white roses and ancient symbols representing life and death, it reflects both the pain of loss and the deep love we carry day by day, from sunrise to moonset.

The Nantzin vase has been exhibited as part of the Tot Cor collection in venues like Disseny Hub in Barcelona and the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas in Madrid, among others.

Tot Cor is a solidary project that extends far beyond this vase. It was made to help people who suffer from incurable diseases and, in some cases, people who are invisible to the majority of society. A portion of the profits generated by the sales of this piece and by the sales that they will generate in the future, are and will be donated to research projects and associations such as the Miquel Valls Foundation, with whom we are currently collaborating.
