illustrated

worlds

Every moment, every person, carries its own world.

That is what the illustrations are about: the memory of drinking pink Moët on the deck, the shoelace that is always untied, the teddy bear she can’t leave behind, or the “it” bag that is too big and always full.

no two stories are ever the same,

framed illustrated story by Lolita Cortes depicting a group of friends on a Cruise in Greece. The image contains many little details, from the clothes they were wearing, the gestures, the particular objects to the champagne they drank while aboard.

Portraits, pets, weddings, invitations,
celebrations, cards, illustrated initials,
gifts, keepsakes …

portraits & moments

Every illustration is built from the details that make a person unmistakably themselves

The objects they keep close, the gestures that belong only to them, the small things that would make anyone who knows them say: yes, that’s exactly right.

& CARDS

A card can begin with a place, a flower, a pet, a table, a memory, a colour, a small object — or simply the atmosphere you want to share.

Created as a single printed piece or as a small set, each one is designed to feel personal, intentional and made only for the moment.

WEDDINGS

your invitation crafted around your wedding

Handcrafted, intentional and shaped around the details that make it yours: your dress, your flowers, your music, your menu, the place, the atmosphere and the personal touches.

together we define

the design direction

Romantic, classic, funky, maximalist, unexpected or quietly elegant — the colours, typography, shapes, number of cards, level of illustration and the way the different elements are designed.

The result is

a luxury printed invitation, created with special papers, finishes and details chosen to suit the project.

The artwork can extend to your wedding’s printed and digital elements, including save the dates, RSVP cards, menus, place cards, thank you notes, photocalls and more.

How

it works

It begins with a detailed conversation, where we talk about your illustration and how you would like the final piece to exist — as a print, framed piece, gift, invitation or special format.

Once the direction is clear, you send me the photographs and details that matter.

I first draw the piece in pencil, so you can review the composition before the final artwork and design are completed.

1. THE CONVERSTATION

This is where you tell me about the wedding: the place, the atmosphere, the people, all the details that matter to you, and the stationery world you would like to create.

2. THE PROPOSAL

I prepare a proposal outlining the creative scope, the pieces included, the timing and the cost. We also establish the initial direction for the illustration, colour and typography.

3. THE ILLUSTRATION

I develop the illustrations, first in pencil for your approval. The drawing is then refined and completed, together with any additional illustrated elements.

4. THE FINSIHED WORK

The finished illustration may become an art print, an invitation or part of a complete stationery suite. I prepare the artwork for each agreed use and, where included, supervise printing and specialist finishes.

Tell me about the story you would like to keep

Whether it begins with a portrait, an invitation, a wedding, a pet, a place or a meaningful gift, we can shape the piece around the details that make it yours.

AN ENGAGEMENT PORTRAIT & PARTY INVITATION

Ivan and Maria’s story is told through the little details that belong only to them: Luna and Romeo, their inseparable pets; references to their origins and the places they have lived, from the UK and USA to the Philippines, Ukraine and Uruguay; and, always, the sea, fishing and their boat.
